Cops consult CBI for Noida narco tests
Noida Police said the narco-analysis of the two serial killing accused was crucial to be tie up some loose ends.

New Delhi: Uttar Pradesh Police on Wednesday said, after holding discussions with CBI about it’s utility, they have decided to go ahead with narco-analysis tests on the two suspects in the Noida serial killings case.

"We had some discussions regarding narco tests and its utility with the CBI. They have also suggested that this is a good test. So we are going ahead," PTI quoted Senior Superintendent of Police R K S Rathore as saying.

Ahmedabad-based Forensic Sciences Laboratory has given the consent letter to Noida Police for conducting tests on Moninder Singh Pandher and Surendra Koli on January 5.

The investigators have already sent a questionnaire to the Ahmedabad lab to whatever questions is to be asked during the narco tests.

A senior police official said the narco-analysis of the two accused was of crucial as some loose ends had to be tied up.

Moninder has not revealed much about his involvement in the crime and police hoped that they could gather more information from the sophisticated tests.

"He is diabetic and we could not force him after a point. So the tests is," he said.
