BANGALORE: The High Court on Monday directed the police commissioner to explain why the city police did not serve the summons and warrants issued by the consumer court in connection with the directors of Vyalikaval Housing Society.Atmaranjan had filed a writ petition requesting the High Court to direct the police to serve warrants and summons issued by the consumer court. In the writ, he had filed a suit against Vyalikaval Housing Society for not complying with the promises made by them during the time of purchasing the property.Atmaranjan contended that the police department failed to serve the summons more than 12 times.Justice B V Pinto directed the police commissioner to appear before the court and explain why the summons were not served by the city police so many times.
