HYDERABAD: A couple was killed and their children seriously injured in a car accident that occurred on the Telugu Talli flyover, late on Sunday night.
The Santro car in which the couple and their children were travelling was hit by a speeding lorry from the opposite direction on the flyover.Saifabad police subinspector S Vijay Kumar said Yadaiah (50) and Chandrakala (45), a couple from Katedan in Old City were killed in the mishap while their children are undergoing treatment.

"The car overtook a passing vehicle and collided with a lorry that was speeding from the opposite direction," Vijay Kumar said. According to police, Yadaiah's family had gone to Shirdi and were on their way back home on Sunday night. Yadaiah had gone to Bollarum railway station to bring them back home.
