KOCHI: The North rail overbridge (RoB) will remain closed for traffic from Wednesday to Friday, owing to construction work in the area. The RoB will be closed completely from 10 pm to 5 am.Due to this, two-wheelers, autorickshaws and light vehicles will be diverted through Pullepady and Pachalam routes. The heavy vehicles coming from Edappally will have to take a diversion from Kaloor Junction, pass through Kadavanthra and South RoB, to travel to the Ernakulam side. Heavy vehicles from Ernakulam to Edappally will have to take a deviation from Madhava Pharmacy Junction to High Court, and travel on the Container Terminal Road, to reach Edappally.KSRTC’s night-service buses to Ernakulam from Edappally, will also have to take a deviation from Kaloor Junction via Kadavanthra and South RoB to reach the bus station. The buses from the Ernakulam bus station will also have to ply through the same route.
