A fire broke out at a restaurant in south Delhi’s Greater Kailash area on Saturday night, officials reported. The fire has been reported from a restaurant at M Block in Greater Kailash Part 2.
According to news agency PTI, a call was received at 10.10 pm and four fire tenders have been pressed into service.
It has been found that the fire took place on the top floor of M-25, M Block Market, GK-2 due to a short circuit in the generator.
Soon after receiving the information, the police staff reached at the spot immediately and controlled the traffic and situation.
“Fire was controlled by the fire staff with the help of police. No casualties took place as the situation was handled in time,” officials reported.
