New Delhi: The Juvenile Justice Board on Thursday is likely to hear arguments for framing charges against the minor accused in the December 16, 2012 Delhi gangrape. The Delhi police had filed a supplementary chargesheet against the juvenile during the last hearing in the case.
The juvenile accused can get a maximum of three years in a reformatory. The trial of the other five adult accused began last week when the Delhi police filed a supplementary chargesheet which included the post-mortem and forensic reports.
The 28-year-old male friend of the Delhi braveheart and the sole eyewitness to the brutal assault was, on February 6, cross examined by the defence in a fast-track court. The youth, a software engineer, had testified as a witness for the prosecution against the five accused, who have pleaded not guilty to charges, which include rape and murder.
