New Delhi: In a big breakthrough Delhi Police cracked a human trafficking case after conducting multiple raids in Karol Bagh and other parts of the National Capital Region. One person has been arrested in the case.
According to the police three months ago a 15-year-old girl was brought from West Bengal to Delhi on the pretext of a job. The minor was allegedly put up in a house in Laxmi Nagar in east Delhi where she was forced into prostitution. She was kept at a suspect's house for four days and around 15-20 customers were sent per day.
On November 9, 2015, she got lost while accompanying one client and was found by one lady who handed over her to police. The minor told the police that she was forced into sex trade and was also thrashed by clients.
She also claimed to have been raped multiple times by the man who brought her to Delhi. The main accused has been arrested. The girl was forced to have wine, cigarettes and contraceptive pills.
He also forced her to wear short revealing clothes and high heels. She was also shown porn clips and was raped by him 4-5 times. She was also taken to various hotels in Delhi where she was forced to have sex with men. She was sent to Khanpur and Laxmi Nagar areas to have sex with clients.
Further raids are going on to trace out other gang members.
