New Delhi: Mumbai may have reason to celebrate, and Delhi can afford a smile. After all, Shakira will soon be here. Mumbai though will get the much bigger share of the Latino sensation, with her performing in the city on March 25. Shakira, however, will pay the Capital a flying visit before she hits the stage in Mumbai.
Though details of her first visit to the country have not been worked out yet, reports say the Hips don’t lie star will visit Delhi on March 24.
With the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week kicking off around the time of her visit, Shakira is scheduled to attend a special dinner at the event after designer Vikram Phadnis’s fashion show.
Meanwhile, Mumbai is gearing up for Shakira’s visit with much fanfare, and the hotel she is scheduled to stay in, Grand Hyatt, is putting in their best to make her stay one to remember.
The hotel knows about her addiction to chocolate, and DNA reports that they would be preparing a three kilo chocolate decoration, which will include pictures from her popular albums like Laundry Service and Oral Fixation.
