THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The fear of examination has claimed one more life. Veena, a 22-year-old engineering student, committed suicide at her house apparently due to fear of facing her examination scheduled for Tuesday. Veena, was a sixth semester BTech student at LBS Centre Poojapura. According to Poojapura Police, Veena, a resident of Mudavanmugal, had been undergoing treatment for examination phobia for the last couple of years. After attending the last examination, she was apparently frustrated. The next exam was scheduled for Tuesday. On Sunday morning, the parents of the girl tried to take her to a doctor. The girl went to her room to change. But as she did not turn up even after sometime her father forcefully opened the door and found the body of Veena hanging on a shawl tied to the cross bar. The body has been shifted to the Medical college Hospital here for autopsy.
