THE PROPOSAL

Miss Congeniality Sandra Bullock turned Miss Gorgeous on Monday night for Los Angeles premiere of her latest film The Proposal. Dressed in a black dress, Sandra was joined by co-star Ryan Reynolds, who just couldn't stop gushing over her.

"I think the key to Sandy's success also is that she doesn't really know how gorgeous she is," said Reynolds.

And Sandra took the opportunity to give fans a few tips on 'how to propose and make your marriage work'.

"Blackmailing someone into marrying you is the only way to go because it's the only way you can make it stick. As long as you have something to hold over them, the marriage will last," she stated.

And that's exactly what Sandra does in The Proposal. She plays a demanding boss who in order to avoid being deported to Canada forces her young assistant - played by Reynolds - to marry her, something that he reluctantly agrees to in order to get a promotion. The film will hit the theatres on July 19.

GUY CHOICE AWARDS

It was an all-boys club at the Guys Choice Awards ceremony in Los Angeles over the weekend with the likes of Quentin Tarantino and Jason Stathom picking up the big awards. But that was before Mel Gibson presented the Guy Movie Hall Of Fame award to Brad Pitt, Edward Norton and director David Fincher for their hit Fight Club. And though Brad took a dig at Mel,the latter chose to ignore it.

However, temperatures soared when Halle Berry walked up to receive the Decade of Hotness award from actor Jamie Foxx. Clearly, Halle Berry wanted everyone, especially Jamie Foxx, to know that's she the most foxy of them all.

THE BEATLES

The Beatles are game for anything! No wonder then its former band members, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr took the stage on Monday in Los Angeles to launch The Beatles Rock Band videogame.

"We love the game. It's fantastic. Who would have ever thought we'd end up as androids," said McCartney.

"I like the way I walk (in the game)," added Ringo Starr.

In the videogame, the players can perform as the members of the band and they will have a choice of 45 Beatles songs to perform including classics like I Want To Hold Your Hand and Get Back.
