ESPN campaigns against Asianet

KOCHI: ESPN-Star sports has decided to come out with a campaign against MSO Asianet Satellite Communication for refusing to sign a contract with it.The marketing campaign is intended to educate consumers about their rights.Rajib Mukherjee, senior director of Affiliate Sales, ESPN Software India Pvt Ltd said: “We have tried our level best to resolve the issue with the MSO.But it is evidently clear that they are not keen to carry our services despite demands made by a large section of consumers.We have now decided to start a detailed marketing campaign for the next month.” The tagline for the campaign- ‘Being a Keralite it is my right to get ESPN, STAR Sports and STAR Cricket.’
