THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A team of ten from Ethiopia is all set to enthrall the audience in the city in a 90-minute long Ethiopian dance performance at the Vyloppilli Samskrithi Bhavan on Sunday at 6.30 pm.It is as part of the cultural exchange programme between the two countries that the team is arriving here. The event is being organised by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations under the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India.Metasebia Tadesse, Minister Counsellor at the Ethiopian Embassy in New Delhi, will lead the team. It is the members of the National Theatre of Ethiopia who will be performing a variety fare before the audience here. The team which arrived in India has already performed in Delhi and Hyderabad.The team members include Ato Deesta Kassa, Ato Yonas Asrat, Ato Zerihum Bekele, Ato Dereje, W/Rit Fregenet, W/Rit Alemn, Ato Kassahun Yimam, Ato Biruk Tadesse, Ato Gashaw Abatneh and Ato Kebede Lema.After performing here, the team will leave for Ethiopia on October 24. Entry to the event will be free.
