Family members visit Italian Marines twice

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The relatives of Italian Marines, Latorre Massimiliano and Girone Salvatore, visited them again at Poojapura Central Prison here on Friday. While their first visit lasted for an hour, they returned again in the afternoon and spent more than two hours with the incarcerated marines. The family members visited the marines on Thursday and hinted that they would visit the two again during their 10-day stay here. But the Friday visit came as a little surprise and the prison officals had in no way opposed their repeated visits.Though the first visit before noon was intimated quite earlier to the prison officials, the second one in the afternoon came as a surpsrise. The second visit in the afternoon, which lasted for two hours, was made with the special permission of the prison superintendent.
