Film Exhibitors Federation calls off token stir

KOCHI: The Film Exhibitors Federation has backed out from the token strike that was scheduled for Wednesday.An office-bearer of the Federation said that all cinema theatres will remain open on Wednesday.Ea r l i e r , the Film Exhibitors had called for a token strike in protest against the decision by the state government to cut the service tax rate.“A final decision in this regard will be taken at the general body meeting of the Federation that will be convened on October 10,” he said.
