In a shocking twist in the killing of two Dalit children in Ballabhgarh village in Faridabad, reports suggest that the forensic team analysing the crime site has found that the fire that killed the two minors started inside the room they were in.
Their findings also claim that the door was locked from the inside and that there were no traces of outside entry.
The findings of the report contradicts the claims of the complainant in the case that he and his family were attacked by Rajputs while they slept in their house.
The CBI took over the probe on Thursday in the October 20 killing of two Dalit toddlers in an arson attack in Haryana's Sunped village after registering a case against 11 accused.
A CBI team, headed by a DIG-level officer and including officials of Central Forensic Science Laboratory, visited the crime scene on Thursday and collected some exhibits for in-depth investigation, besides taking over the case records from local police.
