Five shops burgled

HYDERABAD: Burglars broke into nearly five shops on the HyderabadVijayawada highway at Moosarambagh late Tuesday night and stole cash and property worth Rs 1 lakh from them.
The thefts took place in shops which are just a few feet away from Malakpet police station and the burglars savoured various soft drinks in a bakery which also become their target. The shops were located abutting a mosque and all had either tin or asbestos roofs.
