New Delhi: The third installment of 'The Hangover' series will take the lead characters of the movie back to Las Vegas, where the plot of the first movie was sketched.
Starring Ed Helms, Bradley Cooper, Justin Bartha and Zachary Galifianakis, the film hits theatres in India on May 31.
Directed by Todd Phillips, the movie will take a two-year leap and the lead characters Stu, Phill, Doug and Alan will be seen visiting the sin city and promises fun, panic, confusion and hangover, said a statement.
The epic character of Leslie Chow, played by Ken Jeong will be seen behind the bars.
Cooper, who essays the role of Phil Wenneck, said: "It's over. It's done. Yeah, it's done."
"It would take peace in the Middle East for me to do 'Hangover IV'," femalefirst.co.uk quoted Helms as saying. Helms plays Stuart 'Stu' Price in the movie.
The first two films in the series collectively grossed over $1 billion at the global box office, but the third one promises to be the most successful of the trilogy.
Actor Zach Galfianikis, who plays Alan in the popular movie franchise will have a romantic side to his personality in the third and final part of the trilogy.
The character is likely to have a few tender moments on screen.
Melissa McCarthy, who essays the role of Cassie in the upcoming movie, plays Alan's love interest, said a statement.
The length and magnitude of McCarthy's role is yet unknown, but her casting opposite Galfianikis seems interesting.
'The Hangover 3' would face a stiff battle from Ranbir, Deepika starrer 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani', which is also releasing the same day.
