Girish Karnad does a cameo in 'Yaare Koogadali'

The Jnanapith Award winner, Dr Girish Karnad is doing a cameo in 'Yaare Koogadali', a film by Dr Rajakumar’s family banner.

The last Kannada film in which Dr Girish Karnad, a writer, director and an actor was figured in 'Shabdamani', a patriotic film with actress Shruti.

With such a long career to his kitty, Girish for the first time is in the Rajakumar’s family banner. Directed by Samuthakani, 'Yaare Koogadali' will star Puneeth Rajakumar. Recently, Dr Karnad has also acted in 'Ek Tha Tiger', one of the hits in Hindi Cinema.

'Yaare Koogadali' is shooting its second schedule. 'YK' is a remake of Tamil film, 'Poraali' Tamil film. The film direction is in the hands of the same director, who has handled it's Tamil version.
