BHUBANESWAR: Actor Dushmant Panda’s wedding day reception had an uninvited visitor on Sunday.At Hotel Kalinga Ashoka, where the actor and his wife, Kajal Mishra, also an actor, were to celebrate their marriage, Priti Mohanty’s appearance played spoilsport.Priti, who has been accusing Panda of ditching her, was found standing with a placard at the entrance of the hotel, drawing curious gaze from the guests and passersby.For over three hours, her constant presence drew the most eyeballs, not the bride and the bridegroom.For record sake, the bridegroom, Panda, was conspicuous by his absence at the reception.His kin, including wife Kajal, said he was not keeping well.Over the last few days, Priti’s claims that she and Panda had married earlier and now the latter is dumping her for Kajal has gone many places - from State Commission for Women, Orissa Human Rights Commission to police.Priti had squatted before Mahila Police Station demanding action whereas Panda refuted her claims all along.Kajal, on her part, has been by her husband’s side.At the reception too, she presented herself before the media to clarify that Panda was indisposed and could not make it to their wedding reception.Priti, despite requests from the family members of both families, stood holding the placard urging the guests not to attend the reception since Panda had betrayed her.Panda had apparently married Kajal earlier.
