KOCHI: Godrej Appliances is providing its customers a chance to showcase their talent on television. The ‘Godrej Star of Kerala’ is a unique programme in itself as it invites the participants to present their talent.“This is for the first time that the people of Kerala will be able to present their talent on a common platform. By not categorising the event into a dance or music competition, we provide a platform for people having different talents to compete on the same stage,” said Ramesh Chembath, marketing head, Godrej Appliances. The competition will be open for all who buy a Godrej television.“It is for the first time we are introducing such a programme nation-wide and we are proud to say that Kerala will be our venue for the event”, said executive vice-president Kamal Nandi. All those who buy a Godrej television from July 25 to September 15 can participate in the reality show by sending an SMS including the details of the receipt. Auditions will be held after the promotional period and those who qualify in it will feature in the one-hour show titled ‘Godrej Star of Kerala’ on Asianet TV. Floats promoting the scheme will be taking rounds all over the city.
