Goldsmiths dupe women of gold chains

BANGALORE: Two unidentified men, in the guise of goldsmiths, cheated two women at a house in Banashankari police station limits on Wednesday morning.According to the police, the victims Bindu and her sister-in-law were alone at their residence when the incident took place. Two miscreants, claiming to be goldsmiths came and got their gold chains for polishing.   Later, they told them to bring hot water. The duo poured chemicals in the hot water and told the victims to keep their chains in the hot water. They also told the women to remove the polished chains from hot water after ten minutes and left the place. When Bindu checked after ten minutes, she found the gold chains missing. Banashankari police are investigating the case.
