CHENNAI: The eighth Graduation Day ceremony of Prathyusha Institute of Technology and Management was organised on the college premises with great pomp and show. The college boasts of eight University rank-holders from all five undergraduate departments. Dr E Balaguruswamy, former Vice Chancellor of Anna University, Chennai presided over the event. During the course of his address to the students, Dr Balaguruswamy encouraged the new graduates to involve themselves in national building activities. “All of you should apply the knowledge that you have gained in your respective subjects during the four years of college for building the society. This will enable the country to emerge as a super power among the nations of the world,” he said. Speaking about the need to impart quality education to students of engineering and management, he said that all courses must involve not just theoretical knowledge, but also give the students an idea about the industry they were going to be a part of.
