The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has confirmed that the GSAT 10, India’s advanced communication satellite with 30 transponders, will be launched at 2:48 am on Saturday from Kourou launch base in French Guyana. The satellite had originally been scheduled to take off on last Saturday.
A malfunction of a hose connecting the Ariane 5 launch vehicle with the launchpad had led to the delay in launch. The malfunction was found on September 15. The launch of GSAT 10, which is ISRO’s 101st space mission and weighs 3400 kg, will be broadcast on Doordarshan.
