There was a deadlock in the last four meetings, the last one being on 4 January, with states seeking sole powers to control assessee with annual turnover of up to Rs 1.5 crore.
New Delhi: Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Monday addressed the media in Delhi, after GST Council meet in New Delhi and said the rollout has been deferred to July 1.
The Finance Minister made it clear that all assesses with GST turnover of Rs 1.5 crore or less, 90 percent of them will be assessed by States and 10 percent by administrative machinery of Centre.
