He has urged fans not to celebrate his birthday because of the Tamil issue.

Chennai: Superstar Rajnikanth is celebrating his 58th birthday on Friday. However, unlike previous years, this years celebrations by fans will probably be toned down as the star is in no mood to party.

He has urged fans not to celebrate his birthday as he has been pained by what is happening to the Tamils in Sri Lanka.

Rajnikanth will be in Hyderabad at the Ramoji Rao studio shooting for his daughter Soundarya Rajinikanth's animation film Sultan - The Warrior.
