Heavy pilgrim rush on Tirumala

TIRUMALA: The temple town witnessed heavy pilgrim flow on Sunday. Since it is the fag end of summer holidays, the TTD had made all arrangements to meet the pilgrim rush. On Sunday, till afternoon, the rush touched 45,000 and is expected to continue till Monday noon.Free food packets, water and buttermilk were provided to the devotees waiting in queue lines. Additional barbers were deployed at Kalyanakatta and care was taken to ensure that there is no scarcity of laddus.
