New Delhi: Nishabd star Jiah Khan is all of 19, but raring to go after the release of the film, which has opened to some good reviews.

Sharing screen space with superstar Amitabh Bachchan in Ram Gopal Verma's Nishabd couldn’t have been an easy task, so was the teenager intimidated while acting opposite Big B?

“I think if I was intimidated by him throughout the film, I would not have been able to complete the film. For me the minute the camera was on, he was just my character. I don’t know how that happened I think that was God-sent but he was just my character Vijay,” Jiah was quoted as saying by India FM in an interview.

To prepare for the role in Nishabd, Jiah did her homework. She went to an acting school where she learnt method acting. Apart from that, she said she learnt much on the set during the scenes.

The young girl has been quoted earlier saying that Bachchan smells really good. But her appreciation for the older actor doesn’t just stop there.

He’s very charismatic as well, she says. “His style is so daring, which is very sexy. At his age if he could take risks without thinking about it twice, it is a really cool thing,” she said in the interview.

Considering RGV is linked with most of the leading ladies in his films, what about Jiah? “Some one said to me other day, ‘How do you feel being called as Ramu’s girl?’ I was saying, what? I think the focus is on both of us so I am more Mr Bachchan’s girl than anyone else’s,” she said in the interview.

And as far as Nishabd is concerned, Jiah has her own reasons for people to watch the film: one would not get to see Bachchan romancing at 60 in any other film.
