The actor plays a cheerful and optimistic young officer who is a keen learner and manages to please the otherwise reluctant Saajan (Irrfan Khan). From chopping vegetables in the local to everyday sharing Saajan's 'dabba', Nawazuddin manages to bring a smile on the face. The actor deserves a mention as it is a sheer delight to see him in the new avatar.
