IBNLive Movie Awards: Varun Sharma voted best actor in comic role for 'Fukrey'
With 30.68% votes, Varun was adjudged as the winner of the IBN Live Movie Award for Best Actor in a comic role.

Yes, the results are in, and as expected, the readers have chosen Varun Sharma of 'Fukrey' with 30.63% votes as the winner of the IBN Live Movie Award for Best Actor is a comic role.

Very few actors fit into the character so well that people remember them just as the characters and Choocha aka Varun Sharma is one of them. The ease with which Varun Sharma plays the character is highly commendable and he fits like a hand in glove in the film. The eagerness and zeal with which Varun Sharma got familiar with the college life and adapted the character of a school dropout was commendable. His infectious smile and that spark makes us believe that he is not yet done making people laugh. There's more to come.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui earned 25.99% votes for 'The Lunchbox'. We have seen him play a gangster in 'Gangs of Wasseypur' and a ghost in 'Aatma' but little did we know that Nawazuddin can also tickle the funny bones. The actor plays a cheerful and optimistic young officer who is a keen learner and manages to please the otherwise reluctant Saajan (Irrfan Khan). From chopping vegetables in the local to everyday sharing Saajan's 'dabba', Nawazuddin manages to bring a smile on the face. The actor deserves a mention as it is a sheer delight to see him in the new avatar.

Kunal Khemu nominated for Go Goa Gone came third with 21.76 % votes. He might not have struck gold with his past films but the actor did make many heads turn with his comic act in 'Go Goa Gone'. His perfect comic timing and his camaraderie with Vir Das and Anand Tiwari makes his act quite charming.

Divyendu Sharma earned 12.89 % votes for Chashme Baddoor. Divyendu steps into the shoes of Rakesh Bedi in the remake of the film but the actor brings his own comic timing. He has displayed some great humour in 'Pyaar Ka Punchnama' and his funny shayari in 'Chashme Baddoor' has you in splits.

Prabal Panjabi earned 8.73 %votes for Mere Dad Ki Maruti. Ram Kapoor and Saqib Salim's comic timing was enough to make 'Mere Dad Ki Maruti' a laugh riot, but actor Prabal Panjabi just fits as the last piece of the rib tickling jigsaw perfectly. He plays Saqib Saleem's chaddi buddy who doesn't mind being called his chauffer or help him arrange a stolen car.
