Mumbai: A superstar down South, pretty woman Ileana D'Cruz has finally made a much impressive Bollywood debut with Barfi!.
A film that has taken some time to reach the finishing line due to a couple of schedules going haywire, the wait pretty much seems to be worthy enough for Ileana who is sharing screen space with Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra in this Anurag Basu affair.
Though she is beaming with all the appreciation coming her way, Ileana does admit that there was quite some anxiety as the delay in film's release did bother her to some extent at least.
"When you are excited to do a film and give it your all during the shoot, you definitely look forward to a quick release as well. However when a film takes longer than expected, it does bother you. It wasn't any different for me", confesses Ileana who obviously has worked in much faster set up down South where films are known for getting completed in a jiffy, "Also, there is no denying the fact that it takes a lot of will power to focus and calm down. So yes, when Barfi! was getting pushed ahead, it did throw me off a little initially.
However I consoled myself by thinking that whatever happens is for the best." Well, with the way she is garnering an all around appreciation, everything that happened with Barfi! indeed was for the best.
