India beat Japan by four goals to one to enter the final of the Asia Cup.

Chennai: India have beaten Japan by four goals to one to enter the final of the Asia Cup hockey tournament in Chennai on Saturday.

India, who are the defending champions of the Asia Cup, will now play South Korea for the title on Sunday, who got through by beating Malaysia 2-1 in the first semi-final.

India started well and went into the lead through Shivender Singh. Prabhjot Singh doubled the score and that's how it stayed till the end of the first half.

India added another in the second through Roshan to settle the match before Japan got one back three minutes before the hooter.

But drag flick specialist Prabhjot settled the game with his second to give India a comfortable victory.
