Eyewitnesses claimed the reality show singer was drunk and abusive but the medical report confirmed he was sober.
Mumbai: A night out with friends turned awry for star singer Abhijeet Sawant after the Indian idol winner was roughed up by an angry crowd on Tuesday night.
The incident took place when he tried to protect his fellow Indian idol contestant Prajakta Shukre who had allegedly smashed her car into a bike. Two people were reportedly injured in the incident.
Eyewitnesses claimed the singer was drunk and abusive but the medical report confirmed he was sober. Police have registered a case against Prajakta Shukre.
