The festival of Krishna Janmashtami is celebrated with great enthusiasm and zeal across the country with the practice of Dahi Handi. Some of our favourite stars come together to participate in the festivities and celebrate the day, taking the excitement up a notch. A Dahi Handi event was organised in Thane, which was attended by the whole team of the superhit show Maharashtrachi Hasyajatra. Namrata Sambherao, a popular member of the cast blessed the event with her blockbuster dialogue delivery, which is now going viral on social media.

As per the information given, the Dahi Handi event was organised by Sankalp Pratishthan in Thane, Maharashtra. Actress Namrata Smbherao spoke her popular dialogue “Meri aankhon mein mat jhanko (Do not peek into my eyes).” This created a frenzy among the fans who were present at the event.

Several images from the event are making rounds around social media, featuring the whole cast of Maharashtrachi Hasyajatra. Namrata is seen in a dark green silk salwar suit tailored with a golden border. The actress has adorned herself with gold jewellery, which includes earrings, nose rings and bangles. The viral images also capture the main Dahi Handi event, where young men lined up to form a human pyramid.

Aside from the show Maharashtrachi Hasyajatra, Namrata Sambherao is known for appearing in films as well as other reality shows. The actress last appeared in the drama film Nach Ga Ghuma, released this year. It is directed and written by Paresh Mokashi and stars Mukta Barve and Namrata Sambherao as the leads. They are supported by Sukanya Mone, Sarang Sathaye, Supriya Pathare, Madhugandha Kulkarni, Sharmishtha Raut and Sunil Abhyankar. It is produced by Paresh Mokashi, Madhugandha Kulkarni, Swapnil Joshi, Sharmishtha Raut, Tejas Desai and Trupti Patil under the banner of Hiranyagarbha Manoranjan. The music in the film is handled by Tanmay Bhide while the cinematographer is Sandeep GN Yadav and Faisal Mahadik has done the editing. The film had its theatrical release on May 1. It proved to be a super hit and became the highest-grossing Marathi film of the year.
