London: Jayanta Talukdar, Tarundeep Rai and Rahul Banerjee will look to put Friday’s disappointment behind when they feature in the men's team archery on Saturday.

The quarter-finals, the semi-finals, the bronze-medal tie and the final will be played on Saturday morning at Lord’s. It will start at 1330 Indian Standard Time.

Rai was the highest-placed Indian but at a disappointing 31st place in the ranking qualification on Friday.

Other than Rai, who scored 664 points from 72 shots, Banerjee was placed 46th with 655 points, followed by Talukdar at 53rd with 650 points.

Due to the disappointing performance of the trio, India finished last in a 12-team event.

Let’s hope, Saturday turns out to be a much better day for the trio.
