HYDERABAD: The government will provide insurance coverage to 60,231 people living along the coastline in the state. According to revenue minister N Raghuveera Reddy, the government will obtain financial aid from the prime minister’s relief fund to insure all the fishermen in the nine costal districts. All tsunami-affected people will also be covered under the insurance scheme. Society for Elimination of Rural Poverty will coordinate with fishermen and the United Insurance Company.
