Mumbai: Is the Shah Rukh Khan-Amitabh Bachchan tension dying out? Optimists have all the reasons to believe so.
After rumours of the feud started doing the rounds, Ravi Chopra’s Bhoothnath will be the first film in which two of them will be coming together.
Bhootnath is a tale of friendship between a mischievous child and a troubled ghost (played by Amitabh Bachchan). Co-produced by Studio 18 and BR Films, the film also stars Juhi Chawla, Rajpal Yadav, Satish Shah and child artiste Aman Siddiqui.
Confirming the news, producer Ravi Chopra says, “Shah Rukh has given me dates from April 29 onwards. However he and Amitji do not have any common scenes in this schedule. In the next one though both will have to work together.”
Incidently, the two warring superstars had signed Bhootnath before KBC 3. However, the film, which went on the floors on October 18 last year has been delayed endlessly because of apparent date problems.
Chopra however says, “Amitji and Shah Rukh were very keen on working together and kept calling me to know when the other one was free.”
In a recent interview, Chopra had also mentioned that Bachchan was initially caught up because of his mother’s ill health and later cited Abhishek’s marriage as reasons for not having time.
Is the superstar running out of reasons or is the war really thawing?
