Mumbai: The Bombay High Court will on Monday hear Suraj Pancholi's bail plea in the Jiah Khan suicide case. His application challenges a Sessions Court order that dismissed his bail plea.
Pancholi was arrested last month for abetment to suicide after Jiah's family handed an alleged suicide note to the police. A Mumbai court had on Thursday extended his judicial custody till July 11.
Suraj had moved the Bombay High Court for bail after his earlier bail pleas were rejected both by the magistrate court and the Sessions Court.
On June 3, Jiah, 25, was found hanging in her flat in Juhu area in Mumbai.
