Online registrations for the Jawaharlal Institute of Post-Graduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) MBBS Entrance Examination 2017 are now open.
Online registrations for JIPMER MBBS Entrance Examination 2017 started at 11 AM on March 27, 2017 and will close at 5 PM on May 3, 2017. Desirable candidates can fill up the registration form linked from the JIPMER website.
Hall tickets can be downloaded from the website jipmer.edu.in. Hall tickets will be available only through the website and will not be sent via post, according to the prospectus for the course.
The entrance test is scheduled for Sunday, June 4, 2017, and will be conducted via online mode in two shifts: Morning (10:00 AM to 12:30 PM) and Afternoon (3:00 PM to 5:30 PM).
The merit list is expected to be published on or before June 19, 2017 followed by counselling sessions.
The course is scheduled to commence from July 5, 2017.
JIPMER, established in 1956, is one of the leading medical institutions of India and is under Government of India's Ministry of Health & Family Welfare. The institute is located at a 195 acre campus in Puducherry (formerly Pondicherry), 170 kilometres Chennai. JIPMER has been declared as an "Institution of National Importance" by an Act of Parliament: JIPMER, Puducherry, Act, 2008.
