'Juno' actress Ellen Page comes out at a LGBT conference, receives standing ovation
Ellen Page came out at the THRIVE Conference for LGBT youth in Las Vegas on 14 February 2014.

New Delhi: Actress Ellen Page, who has acted in films like 'Juno' and 'X-Men: Days Of Future Past' came out at the THRIVE Conference for LGBT youth in Las Vegas on 14 February 2014.

The actress, whil addressing the audience, in her speech said, "I'm here today because I am gay...I am tired of hiding and I am tired of lying by omission. I suffered for years because I was scared to be out. My spirit suffered, my mental health suffered and my relationships suffered. And I'm standing here today, with all of you, on the other side of all that pain."

The actress received a standing ovation as she came out with an emotional speech and stated that how she would like to support those who have difficulty in admitting to their close ones and the society about their orientation.
