Thiruvananthapuram: An evening of festivity on Christmas eve turned into horror for a woman and her kid as a man dressed as Santa Claus threw acid on her when she was on her way to midnight mass.
The incident occurred in Kannur district of Kerala and police have arrested the culprit James Anthony.
Rincy and her nine-year-old son were going to church on Christmas night. The police had claimed that the culprit had some relations with the woman but later Rincy started to avoid James.
Rincy is critical and on ventilator support in Mangalore. Her son also suffered burn injuries but is out of danger.
