There were no reports of any casualties after the fire was brought under control with the help of 20 fire tenders.
Kolkata: A fire was reported from a multi-storeyed building in central Kolkata on Saturday night.
Fire brigade officials said the fire which spread from the server room of a Bengali TV channel located in Princep Street was almost under control now with the help of 20 fire tenders.
There were no reports of any casualties so far. State fire services minister Javed Khan said the building which houses many offices and shops was found to have false ceilings which delayed rescue work.
