KUFOS Governing Council formed

KOCHI: The governing council of the Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies (KUFOS) has been constituted. “The Governor has issued an order in this regard,” Fisheries Minister K Babu said.The council consists of MLAs Dominic Presentation, T N Prathapan and Abdurahman Randathani, Vice-Chancellor B Madhusoodan Kurup, Pro-Vice-Chancellor Mohanakumaran Nair, secretaries to the Departments of Fisheries, Higher Education, Finance and Law, State Science and Technology and Environment Council vice-president V N Rajasekharan Pillai,  principal scientist of CMFRI Gopakumar, Advocate K K Radhakrishnan, Centre for Marine living Resources and Ecology director V N Sanjeevan, Seafood exporters Association of India Anwar Hashim  and Vakachan Ambookan.
