Laptop theft gang busted

 JHARSUGUDA: Jharsuguda Police busted a gang involved in theft of laptops from Telibhata under Jharsuguda police limits on Friday night.Two persons identified as Sheik Imtiaz (28) and Sheik Alam (25), both of Telibhata, have been arrested and the police recovered from their possession seven laptops valued at ` 3.5 lakh.Reports said on a tip off, police raided a house where Imtiaz and Alam had been put up and caught them red-handed while they were packing one of the stolen laptops for sale.Preliminary investigation revealed that they had lifted laptops from trains and buses before selling them off and about 15 cases related to dacoity, murder and other such heinous crimes are pending against them.
