The toll of the LPG accident at Muthamizh Nagar in Kodungaiyur went up to four as the lone survivor succumbed to injuries on Saturday. With this, all four members of the family had died. The accident happened on Tuesday when a a leak in an LPG connection at the house of one Kathiresan in Muthamizh Nagar resulting in a blast. While his wife Latha died on the spot, Kathiresan and his son Vinod succumbed to injuries at Kilpauk Medical College Hospital the next day. Kathiresan’s other son Vignesh, who was treated in the same hospital, died during the wee hours of Saturday.
