BODDAPADU (SRIKAKULAM DISTRICT): Maoist leader Ganti Prasadam on Sunday called upon the kith and kin of Maoists to join the State Association of Maoist Martyrs Parents and fight for gaining access to dead bodies of Maoists.Around 250 parents of Maoists who were killed in various police encounters from 1969 to 2009 from Uddanam region participated in the one-day meet held at Maoists Memorial at Boddapadu village in Palasa mandal. Many challenges are yet to be overcome to gain access to bodies of Maoists killed in encounters, said Prasadam."In 2006, Andhra Pradesh High Court, in connection with Madhav encounter case ,said either relatives or parents of those killed in encounter have the  right to get the body from police.
