NUAPADA: Maoists killed one Hrushikesh Pradhan (30) at Redhamal in Bhainsadani panchayat of Boden block. The body was traced on Thursday by some villagers on the Bhainsadani-Palenbasha road inside the forest.Name of the victim could be ascertained from the poster left behind by the ultras near the body. Investigation revealed that Pradhan was beaten to death. Three posters were found near the body, one of which read that Pradhan claimed to be a cop which is why he was killed.Another poster termed him as an enemy and hence, punished with death. The posters have been issued by Kholibhitar area committee of Maoists under Mainpuri division and operates in Sunabeda Wildlife sanctuary in the district. Later, police led by DSP Khariar Sashibhusan Satpathy seized the body. A case has been registered.
