New Delhi: Weeks after the Mangalore pub attack, the Mangalore district administration has issued a show cause notice to Sri Rama Sene chief Pramod Muthalik and two of his aides.
Muthalik and his aides could even face a ban from entering Mangalore district.
Mangalore Deputy Commissioner served the notice to Pramod Muthalik, Lokesh and Prasad Accavar, asking them to reason out why they shouldn’t be banned from entering the district.
Prasad is also the main accused of the Mangalore pub attack where young women were beaten up.
In 2000 and 2002, district administrations of Davangere and Belgaum had banned Pramod Muthalik's entry into few taluks after he made inflammatory speeches inciting hatred between various religious groups.
Pramod Multhalik has over 45 cases pending against him and is wanted by the police in 11 districts of Karnataka.
