New Delhi: The former Hockey goalkeeper Meer Ranjan Negi is likely to be tipped as new national coach after major Indian Hockey scandal surfaced on Tuesday, according to the CNN-IBN sources.

The chief coach MK Kaushik resigned on Wednesday evening after players alleged sexual harassment and misbehaviour.

However, Kaushik has said that it is a conspiracy against him and he will come out clear after the probe.

He resigned from the post, saying, “I would not like to coach a team where such false allegations are made.”

Earlier, Indian National game came to an embarrassment corner when an anonymous person mailed snaps of team Videographer Basav Raj with sex workers in compromising position to the Hockey India.
