New Delhi: Indian badminton prodigy Saina Nehwal is on the verge of cracking the top-20 in the world rankings following her performance at the Malaysian Open Super Series.
The 16-year-old jumped five places to claim the 21st position in the latest international rankings released by Badminton World Federation on Thursday.
Saina's kickstarted the 2007 season with an upset win over world number 22 Dutch Judith Meulendijks in the first round in Kuala Lumpur.
She, though, was ousted in the second round by Malaysian No 12 Mew Choo Wong.
