After the permission granted by Medical Council of India (MCI) to increase 50 seats more, the Patliputra Medical College and Hospital (PMCH), Dhanbad, and Mahatma Gandhi Medical College Hospital (MGMCH), Jamshedpur have started preparations for commencement of post graduate courses in their institution. Earlier, in May MCI had rejected application of both the medical colleges of Jharkhand regarding enhancing MBBS seats from 50 to 100.
Dhanbad: 2-day science exhibition at Golf Ground
A two-day science exhibition began at the Golf Ground in the city on Thursday. It was organised under the Inspire Award Scheme. A total number of 476 models were presented by school children from different educational institutions. Dhanbad DC Prashant Kumar said that the exhibition was the right platform for bringing out children’s creative side.
Ghatshila: Baldev Das Sant Lal college starts academic session
Baldev Das Sant Lal (BDSL) Women’s College began their academic session for first year under-graduate courses. The students were welcomed by the seniors. A cultural programme was organised for freshers. The principal of the college addressed the students. The principal asked the students to maintain discipline inside the college premises.
