New Delhi: After a landslide victory in the Bihar polls on Tuesday, Nitish Kumar is now taking over the reins in the state.
Nitish announced that he will be inducting 14 ministers ? including a deputy chief minister ? in the new NDA government.
Chief Ministers of NDA-led states?including Narendra Modi?are to be present at the Swearing-in ceremony of Nitish Kumar on Thursday.
Sushil Kumar Modi, the BJP Member of Parliament form Bhagalpur, is to be sworn-in an as the deputy chief minister.
Meanwhile Prabhunath Singh, a senior JD(U) leader, has said that there is no need for a deputy chief minister in Bihar.
He added that Nitish is a competent leader and he can run the state government efficiently whereas George Fernandes refused to comment on the subject.
Nitish was earlier a Cabinet minister in the Atal Bihari Vajpayee government.
